Inflatables
The safest place to use inflatables is at the lifeguard beach, or close to shore taking care to avoid any breaking waves.
Do not take your inflatable into the harbour, across the busy Harbour Mouth. This is a very busy harbour which is in constant use throughout the day. Do not assume vessels entering or exiting the harbour have seen you! You may be difficult to spot in the water.
It is dangerous to launch an inflatable when the wind is blowing from the land to the sea (offshore winds) as inflatables can very quickly be blown out to sea.
